Last Sunday Life Teen had their first of 4 nights on the Theology of the Body, a teaching based on Pope John Paul II’s views of our bodies, how they relate to God, and how they bring us closer to God. We live in a world today where mainstream media tells us how to dress, or to have relationships, and how to love. Does this jive with how God intended it to be?

Catalyst talked about the Tower of Babel, a story about trying to reach God for your own personal glory. God prevented the people from building the tower to teach them humility, not because they were trying to reach him. In today’s world, prayer can be used and abused in the same way. Prayer is a tool for reaching God, not a means of getting what you want.

Uh-oh! The seemingly effortless podcast has encountered a problem with the sound quality. We need a better mic!
