The Barbarian Way is about living your faith aggressively, that is, challenging yourself and others to become closer to God and do His will even when the path is difficult and involves suffering. We are called to purpose, not pleasure. Significance, not safety. The path is often a stuggle and can lead us to pain or even death. God has a plan for all of us and it may not necessarily be happiness. Don’t shy away from God because it’s easier or less painful not to hear His call.
